Hurricane Ike rumbled through the Gulf of Mexico as a 600-mile-wide monster toward the Texas coast Friday, led by a massive storm surge that was already flooding homes many hours before the main event was to begin.

- This is all a big waste of money. People have historically not gotten most modern diseases till they changed their diets to a grain based one with heavy use of sugar thrown in. Nothing to do with genetics except we are not able to thrive on this modern diet.

- I was referring to the University of California TV..UCTV. And the lectures in their medical schools clearly establish the levels needed for prevention of cancer. Viamin D has never been shown to be toxic unless taken in massive dosages above 30K IUs a day for extended periods.

- You might googe UCTV for a variety of lectures on vitamin D and various diseases: cardiovascular, diabetes, autoimmune, and cancer. The amount needed is much more than supplemented in foods and vitamin d in dairy is destroyed by light.
